Hemp production was abolished in 1937, but as of today, 9 states have been authorized to again grow hemp. Hemp is grown for its fiber and marijuana is grown for its narcotic uses. Hemp has over 50,000 uses so we're hopeful this trend will continue and many more states will be allowed to grow hemp for industrial purposes.

States Authorized to Grow Hemp
Hemp production was abolished in 1937, but as of today, 9 states have been authorized to again grow hemp. Hemp is grown for its fiber and marijuana is grown for its narcotic uses.
